Over 25 years of experience in market research and consulting, holding senior international roles in strategic and commercial positions, both at the agency and the client side.
Maria is currently acting as senior research consultant and digital transformation officer in Turkey, while being the Global lead for a growth Kantar account.
Maria moved to her current Kantar role in 2016 from her previous position as Manging Director for Millward Brown Greece, which she held from 2014.
Serving strategic international roles, Maria was the Strategy & Insights for South East Europe at The Coca-Cola Company, and prior to this the Key Account Director for P&G, at Synovate / Ipsos, for the region of Central Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Maria has held senior managerial and commercial positions in her longstanding career. Apart from her role as Managing Director of Millward Brown Greece, Maria has been the Managing Director of Synovate Greece, and prior to that Managing Director and Founding Partner of Censydiam in South East Europe.
With long experience in international strategic work, Maria has strong commercial understanding and acts as consultant both to internal and external clients.
Maria holds a Ph.D. degree in Statistics for the Manufacturing Sciences from Cranfield University in the UK, while she holds B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Wales in the UK.
